The SNM983 series module is built on Qualcomm’s Kryo Gen 6 CPU with a dual quad core symmetric architecture, clocked at up to 2.36 GHz. It is fabricated on a 5 nm process with non-PoP packaging and supports display resolutions up to 8K.
It integrates the Qualcomm Adreno VPU 765, capable of up to UHD170 video encoding and UHD275 video decoding, with support for H.264, H.265, and more. The Adreno 663 GPU supports secure GPGPU compute at up to 840 MHz, along with OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.2, and OpenCL 2.2. For AI acceleration, the module features a dual Qualcomm® Hexagon™ Tensor Processor integrated with the Hexagon DSP, running at up to 1.42 GHz with 4× HVX and 2× HMX. It supports ONNX, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, TensorFlow Lite, and other frameworks, delivering over 100 TOPS of AI performance and achieving 22 tokens/s on Llama 27B.
The SNM983 series offers a comprehensive set of interfaces, including DSI and DisplayPort display outputs, CSI, TDM, PCIe, SGMII, RGMII, UFS, USB, I²C, UART, SPI, and more.
Target applications include AI boxes, video conferencing systems, VR cameras, intelligent robots, smart data capture devices, live-streaming terminals, and a wide range of other embedded AI solutions.
