The SNM980 series module is built on Qualcomm’s 8 core Oryon™ CPU (2x up to 4.32 GHz + 6x up to 3.53 GHz), fabricated on a 3 nm process with PoP (Package on Package) technology. It supports display resolutions up to 8K.It integrates a Qualcomm® NPU with HVX V79, capable of up to 8K@30 fps video encoding or 8K@60 fps decoding, with support for H.264 and H.265. The Adreno™ GPU 830 provides support for OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.3, and OpenCL 3.0. In addition, the module features the Qualcomm® Hexagon™ Tensor Processor with mixed precision support (INT4 and INT8), compatibility with ONNX, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, and TensorFlow Lite, and delivers over 64 TOPS of AI performance (INT8).
The SNM980 series runs Android 15 and comes with 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage and 16 GB memory onboard. It supports Wi Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. A rich set of interfaces is included: LCM and DisplayPort display outputs, touchscreen, camera, PCIe, USB, I2C, UART, SPI, and more.Target applications include video conferencing systems, VR cameras, intelligent robots, video surveillance and security monitoring, smart data capture devices, live streaming terminals, and a wide range of other embedded AI solutions.
