Quectel EG915U is a series of the LTE Cat 1 bis modules optimized specially for M2M and IoT applications. The module is fully compliant with the 3GPP Rel-13 specification. It delivers maximum data rates up to 10Mbps downlink and 5Mbps uplink. Designed in the compact and unified form factor, EG915U series is compatible with Quectel multimode EG91 series, EG95 series, BG95 series and BG96 modules, ensuring that it can easily migrate between 2G and 4G network to meet the needs of different industry applications.
EG915U contains three variants: EG915U-CN, EG915U-EU and EG915U-LA, covering the frequency band of different countries and regions. Using a laser engraving process, the EG915U series features a more attractive appearance, strong metallic texture, better heat dissipation capability and durable label information, which makes it ideally suited to automation requirements.
A rich set of internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and abundant functionalities (USB drivers for Windows 10/ 11, Linux and Android) allow the module to serve a wide range of M2M and IoT applications such as POS, PoC, ETC, shared equipment, data cards, energy control and monitoring, security and protection, and industrial PDAs.
