The UG89 is a high-performance UMTS/HSPA+ module featuring maximum downlink rates of 21Mbps and uplink rates of 5.76Mbps. The module’s compact LGA package of 27.6mm × 25.4mm × × 2.35mm makes it ideal for applications requiring low power consumption and mechanical intensity, as well as high volumes calling for automated manufacturing, while the module’s temperature range of -40°C to +85°C allows it to function reliably on sites without cooling or heating systems. Laser engraving ensures better appearance, strong metal texture, better heat dissipation, durable label information, and suitability for automation.
The UG89 is fully backward-compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks and features a 50Ω GSM/UMTS antenna. A rich set of internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces (USB/UART/I2C/r/PCM) and abundant functionalities (USB drivers for Windows XP, Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Windows CE, Linux, Android) allow the module to serve a wide range of IoT applications.
