The Friendlyarm NanoPi NEO2 is a newly released super tiny ARM board by FriendlyElec. It uses Allwinner’s 64-bit H5 quad-core SoC (ARM Cortex-A53). It has internal hexa-core Mail450 GPU, 512M DDR. A FriendlyCore-Xential (based on UbuntuCore-16.04) image file is ready for it.
The NanoPi NEO2 inherits NEO’s form factor and has compatible interfaces and ports with NEO. NEO’s housings apply to NEO2. NEO2 has a Gbps Ethernet, standard USB port and various popular ports and interfaces (GPIO, I2S, USB, UART, SPI, I2C and etc). It has a PMU unit. These features make it suitable for IoT applications which should run on a device with small form factor, high data throughput and high speed transition.
