POSEIDON is a high-performance security processor based on a 32-bit RISC core, operating at frequencies up to 300MHz. It integrates 1.25MB of SRAM and supports expandable external RAM and external Quad-SPI NOR Flash.
The device provides a wide range of communication interfaces, including I2C, USART/UART, SPI, Quad-SPI, CAN, SDIO, USB 2.0 FS/HS and 10/100 Ethernet. It also integrates MIPI CSI, MIPI DSI, RGB display and DCMI interfaces for advanced display and imaging applications.
POSEIDON includes dedicated image-processing acceleration with JPEG decoding, 2D graphics acceleration, QR and barcode processing and a lightweight ISP. It also provides three 12-bit ADCs, two 12-bit DACs and multiple timers and peripheral interfaces.
Advanced security features include hardware-accelerated symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, SHA/SM3 hashing, a True Random Number Generator (TRNG), tamper detection, data encryption and tamper-resistant firmware.
POSEIDON operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in a BGA169 package.
